Position Overview:
- We are seeking a proactive Retail Store Manager for a full-time position that is split between 3 days on the floor and 2 days in the office (same location) to join the team here at SÜK Workwear in Carlton North.
Responsibilities:
Customer Facing Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction - Greet and engage with customers, understanding their needs and preferences to provide tailored merchandise recommendations.
- Sales, Returns and Exchanges - Demonstrate and explain products, suggesting options that meet customer requirements. Aid customers in making purchase decisions and complete sales transactions using the store’s point of sale system. Process returns and exchanges efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Order Fulfillment - Handle click and collect orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Stock Management - Replenish floor stock and assist in visual merchandising to maintain an attractive store layout.
Leadership and Management:
- Leadership - Provide leadership and guidance to the Retail store staff by fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork and customer-centricity
- Team Development – Coach and provide regular feedback to your team members, address any performance issues as they arise and perform yearly review
- Rostering - Collaborate with the Retail Assistant team members to create a roster that works for both team and the store’s needs
- Logistics - Proactively manage the pick boxes to adequately house both the core range, anticipated additions to the core range and future product launches
- Inventory Management - Control and audit shops stock levels through performing regular stock takes and weekly shop picks
- Reporting and Communication - Attend weekly meetings to report on the store, your team, issues that you’ve faced and successes
- Stay in touch with your team and our customers by being on the floor each week performing the duties of a Retail Assistant alongside your team
Requirements:
- 2+ Years experience as a Retail Manager or similar leadership role
