Position: Retail Store manager for a Service station
Location: Karratha, WA
Responsibilities: Below are few but not limited to
- Leadership and Team management:
o Lead and inspire a team of retail associates to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Extensive leadership experience within big box/large format volume retailer
o Foster a positive and collaborative work environment through effective communication and coaching.
o Able to empower and mentor the team into future leaders.
- Customer Centric Approach:
o Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through personalized service and a well-stocked and organized retail space.
o Resolve customer issues promptly and effectively, fostering a customer-centric culture.
o Develop, coach & mentor your team in delivering exceptional customer experiences. - Sales and Performance Management:
o Drive sales growth through effective merchandising, promotions, and excellent product knowledge.
o Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies for success.
- Inventory & stock control:
o Manage inventory levels to ensure product availability and prevent stock outs.
o Implement effective stock control measures and conduct regular stock assessments.
- Operational efficiency:
o Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
o Implement and enforce operational policies and procedures for efficiency and compliance.
- Budget Management:
o Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial goals are met.
o Analyse financial reports and implement strategies to improve profitability.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or similar leadership role in a service station or Roadhouse.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and engage a team.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Results-driven mindset with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge of retail management best practices and a passion for staying updated on industry trends.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Experience in Development and Performance plans
- Having an Owner's Mindset in your leadership style
- Positive and proactive approach to safety, health, and wellbeing
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
