THE ROLES
We are looking for an experienced Store Manager. You will bring outstanding customer service, energy and drive to our Newtown store. You will engage with and deliver exceptional brand experience to our customers. Your responsibilities will include:
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, motivate, and inspire a team of retail associates to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment through effective communication, coaching, and development of team members.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities efficiently while maintaining accountability and performance standards.
Operational Excellence:
- Oversee day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics to drive sales growth and profitability.
- Ensure visual merchandising standards are met to enhance the overall customer shopping experience.
Customer Focus:
- Champion a customer-centric culture where exceptional service is consistently delivered.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Financial Management:
- Manage store budget and expenses effectively to maximize profitability.
- Implement strategies to optimize sales and achieve financial targets.
- Oversee banking procedures
Communication:
- Communicate effectively with senior management to ensure alignment on store objectives and initiatives.
- Attend weekly Retail Ops meeting and provide feedback on sales trends, inventory and customer feedback
Store Presentation and Maintenance:
- Take pride in the store's appearance and ensure it is consistently clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Implement and maintain high standards of store cleanliness, including merchandise displays, fixtures, and overall layout.
- Regularly conduct visual audits to uphold brand standards and create a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
ABOUT YOU
Your previous experience retail within a brand and/or multi-brand environment, will enable you to keep Afends ahead of the curb! You will also have:
- Demonstrated retail experience, ideally within a similar mono or multi-brand environment
- Excellent customer service skills, forward thinking and highly organized
- Exceptional Visual Merchandising capabilities and willingness to follow direction
- Accuracy and high attention to detail
- Commitment to delivering exceptional brand experience through sound product knowledge
- Willingness to work weekends
- Positive and friendly attitude with a talent for problem solving
