The opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Supervisor to manage our retail store in Canberra. As a Retail Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store supervising our volunteering team, creating the rosters, providing support to our team members, and ensuring that the store meets its sales targets while providing exceptional customer service.
This is no ordinary retail supervision role, the work you do directly impacts the local community, and the services we deliver are all about providing back to those who need it most. What's desirable
Certificate or Diploma in business, management or Retail management
Previous experience as a Retail Supervisor, ideally in a charity retail environment / faith-based agency
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Customer-focused approach to retail management
Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic accounting principles
Passion for making a difference in the community
On offer
The position is Part-time (56 hours per fortnight).
$30.24 per hour + 10.5% super
