Retail Systems Operator - Iga Supermarket

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced retailer to join The Good Grocer Support Team as a Retail Systems Operator.

Working in our Retail Systems Team, you will work closely with our Buying Team and be responsible for ensuring all the data in our Store Retail systems are up to date and accurate and in ensuring all invoice discrepancies are rectified.

We are looking for that special someone with an “Of Course Attitude" that is passionate about supporting our Store Teams and in ensuring a positive Team Member experience across the business.

The position is a permanent full-time salaried position based in The Good Grocer Support Office in Applecross working Monday to Friday.

Skills required

• At least three years’ experience in the retail industry with administration skills is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent customer service skills and a high level of personal presentation.
• Good business acumen and ability to interpret financial data and statistics and to provide reports for stakeholders.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal communication and decision-making skills with the ability to liaise, consult, collaborate and communicate with diverse range of people.
• Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise tasks, work unsupervised and effectively under pressure, solve problems, handle constant interruptions and manage a busy and varied workload in a calm and professional manner.
• Good knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, and Outlook).

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the Smart Retail HQ system.
• Ensure discrepancies and queries are processed in a timely manner.
• Communicate with the stores daily as required regarding discrepancies.
• Data entry of new pricing.
• Set up new product lines in the system.
• Input group promotions and tickets.
• Provide Produce daily price changes and new tickets as required.
• Provide reports for stakeholders as required.
• Assist the Retail Systems Specialist and the General Manager Commercial in projects and other activities as required.
