We are looking for a retired Butcher to join our vibrant Team in a fast-paced environment.
The role involves working on Saturdays from 07.00am to 01.00pm.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Butcher with good trade practices to join our current Saturday Shop Team.
Your day to day will involve:
- Accurately selecting various grades & cuts of meat according to customer specifications.
- Cutting and tray packing meat products to a consistent and exceptionally high standard meeting specifications.
- Engaging and cultivating a positive can-do approach within the functional. teams and provide solutions to day to day orders being despatched
- Understanding food health and safety standards to maintain consistent product quality.
- Capturing data for product costings, yielding and waste control.
- Assisting with product development when required.
- Good communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
About you:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Butcher
- Tertiary education or butcher qualifications
- Strong Knife skills and attention to details.
- Good communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
