K&S Freighters is dedicated to leading in safety, innovation, diversity, and inclusion. We are seeking a Return-to-Work Coordinator for our HS&E / Compliance division based in Western Australia.
Job Summary:
The Return-to-Work Coordinator manages and monitors return-to-work programs, ensuring compliance with SRCA/Comcare legislation. This role reports to the National Injury Manager and supports our commitment to employee welfare and rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting and supporting business units in managing work-related injuries and Return to Work.
- Providing support and advice to employees on the early intervention program(s), Return to Work process, and rehabilitation outcomes.
- Liaise with injured workers, insurers, legal and medical professionals, and internal stakeholders to manage rehabilitation cases.
- Comply with applicable safety, rehabilitation, and compensation regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge & experience in rehabilitation case management
- Familiarization of workers' compensation systems and legislation.
- Proven ability to manage Return to Work plans efficiently.
- High-level communication and administrative skills.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience with Rehabilitation Management system(s) and knowledge of the SRC Act preferred.
- Tertiary qualifications in Allied Health, OHS, or HR with a focus on occupational rehabilitation are preferred.
