Job Description – Returns 2IC
We are on the hunt for a motivated and efficiency-obsessed Returns 2IC to join our dynamic team. The Returns 2IC will play a pivotal role in delivering on our customer promise by overseeing the team responsible for unpacking and processing returns in our Distribution Centre.
How will you contribute?
Reporting to the Online Service & Returns Manager;
- Coach, lead, and develop the Returns team to ensure high performance and achievement of KPIs, targets, and objectives.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular team training, provide feedback, and implement development plans.
- Oversee, plan, and deliver on all core functions and activities related to customer returns, including but not limited to:
- Unpacking and quality checking of returned items.
- Processing returns and ensuring accurate recording of data.
- Daily administration tasks associated with returns.
- Ensure efficient and timely processing of customer refunds and credits.
- Maintain high standards of quality checking to ensure all returned items meet company standards and policies.
- Implement and monitor quality control processes to reduce errors and improve efficiency.
- Manage daily administration tasks related to returns processing.
- Compile and provide valuable customer feedback and insights to the Online Service & Returns Manager.
- Work closely with the Online Service and Returns Manager to align strategies and achieve departmental goals.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Support in addressing and resolving issues or discrepancies related to returns processing.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse OR senior leadership experience in a retail environment, preferably in the fashion industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
- Unmatched attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems and other relevant software advantageous, but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
