Revit Draftsperson 3D Renders

Based in our fun, family environment Mount Waverley Head Office, this 12 Months Maximum Term Full Time role will see you checking and modifying Master Revit drawings in line with special project standards set by management, with 100% accuracy, within time targets, and in accordance with Metricon construction standards.

Reporting to the National Product Commercialisation Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Check and modify Revit Master drawings to 3D visualisation project standards
• Problem solve by identifying issues arising due to visual, construction or designer restraints
• Working drawing sets are all maintained to Masters standards
• Standard Option drawing sets are all maintained to Masters standards
• Be thorough when drafting and follow any issues through to all affected Master Documentation, Details and Display drawings
• Respond to critical needs as identified by the Workflow
• Check every job prior to issuing to ensure: Project standards are adhered to, Revit standards are adhered to and working drawings maintain the documentation standards for Master plans
• Liaise with your Manager to resolve any issues requiring technical or design involvement or clarification
• Liaise with the Special Project teams to obtain feedback on accuracy of presentation and master drawings
• Maintain and develop Revit proficiency
• Ensure drawings are forwarded to and received from external suppliers and liaise with your Manager regarding external suppliers recommendations and implement where required; and
• Ensure systems and data recording are continually updated to reflect the jobs progress and issuing status.

• Successfully completed a Diploma of Architectural Drafting or equivalent
• The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of Revit drafting experience
• Have a sound understanding/knowledge of the construction process and detail finishes
• Have a background and keen interest in the visual elements of Interior/Exterior design
• Work exceptionally well in a team environment to achieve project goals; and
• A GREAT ATTITUDE!!!
