Rigger/Hoist Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair hoists and rigging equipment according to safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and safety compliance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with hoists and rigging systems.
• Collaborate with other team members to coordinate equipment installation and removal.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations at all times.
• Document work activities, including maintenance records and inspection reports.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Hoist Rigger or Hoist Technician/Mechanic or similar role in the construction industry.
• Proficient in the installation, maintenance, and repair of hoists and rigging equipment.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices related to hoisting and rigging operations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Hoist Rigger certification or relevant qualifications preferred.
• Must have valid Australian Visa with Full working rights.
