A new opportunity has been created for a Senior insurance Adviser to manage and provide Insurance advice to new and Existing clients whilst mentor and provide leaderships to a small team of Risk Advisers.
Reporting to the Risk Distribution Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Manage and retain Existing client relationships.
- Provide comprehensive advice in the areas of TPD, Income Protection, Life Insurance, Trauma.
- Liaise with Underwriters and key stakeholders, obtain insurance quotes.
- Act as a mentor to a small team of Risk Advisers, providing leadership and guidance to develop confidence.
- Complete regular catch up with Risk Advisers.
- Be the contact for complex insurance inquiries.
- Liaise with support and Paraplanning team for timely completion of administrative tasks.
We are ideally seeking the following experience:
- Three years of experience as a Risk Adviser or Financial Planner with strong knowledge of Insurance products.
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
- Ability to mentor staff to achieve successful outcomes.
- Close completion of required Tertiary qualification to meet advice standards.
- Passion for Insurance advice with strong product knowledge.
- Strong relationship skills to retain client base.
- Proactive with a growth mindset
- Xplan experience
