Risk Management Engineer

Are you ready to take your career in mining to the next level? We're seeking a dynamic individual to join our client as a Risk Management Engineer. You'll work alongside a dedicated team under the guidance of their Superintendent of Maintenance, while directly collaborating with their Maintenance Manager. This is a site based role requiring a daily commute and would ideally suit someone living in the Southwest of WA.What you get:

• 5+ years experience in a similar role
• Relevant tertiary qualification
• Reliable transport to travel to and from site
• Ability to start immediately
• Complete pre-employment medical and due diligence

Key Responsibilities:

• Coaching and Investigation: Guide and mentor team members in lower-level departmental event investigations, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
• Performance Analysis: Drive quality departmental performance analysis and reporting, ensuring transparency and accountability in our operations.
• Risk Management: Take the lead in managing material risk activities associated with our department, ensuring proactive measures are in place to mitigate risks effectively.
• Field Audits: Conduct thorough field audits of maintenance execution tasks, identifying areas for improvement to enhance safety, reduce costs, improve equipment reliability, and optimize team efficiency.
• Assurance Management: Oversee the management of level of assurance dashboards and reports, providing insights that support informed decision-making and drive operational excellence.

• Excellent communication and coaching abilities.
• Proven experience in maintenance or related field.
• Passion for driving continuous improvement initiatives.
