In this role, you'll:
- Perform maintenance and manual labouring tasks using plant and equipment and powered and non-powered hand tools.
- Road maintenance activities may include, but not limited to, widening & barrier installs, enhanced road pavements, overtaking lanes and heavy patching works.
- Work collaboratively with the team including Team Leaders and Works Supervisors to manage the day-to-day operations and tasks as well as resolve issues that may arise.
- Travel throughout the region to attend worksites including attending call outs on weekends and after hours scheduled night work where required.
- Keep up to date with WHS legislation and policies and procedures as it relates to minimising risk and keeping to safe work standards.
- Work a 9-day fortnight roster.
We're seeking a team-oriented worker who has an eye for detail and is used to working in similar environments.
You are a practical thinker, quick learner and great communicator who enjoys being physically active performing outdoor manual tasks involving the use of hand tools and equipment within a team setting.
You must hold the following qualifications:
- White Card
- Current driver's licence

We take WH&S and the management of fatigue of our employees seriously. Therefore, to be successful in this role it is a requirement that you must reside within a 100 km distance from either the Goolgowi or Balranald depots.
Note: These positions are Full-Time Fixed Term (Limited Duration) with an end date of 15th of December 2025.
