About the client:
Our client is highly regarded and well-recognized for their ability to plan, develop and manage the arterial road network throughout Victoria. They are seeking reliable and motivated Temporary Road Workers to assist in both long- and short-term roles starting immediately for the right person!
About the role:
As a Road Worker, you will be responsible for:
- Routine and non-routine maintenance.
- Minor construction works.
- Ad hoc labouring tasks.
- Utilising company tablets and mobile devices.
Whilst having a strong commitment to health and safety, employees may be asked to respond to emergency situations and therefore, may be required to be on-call after or during hours on a rotating roster.
About you:
To succeed in this role, you will be required to pass a pre-employment functional capacity test, along with a driver history check and MUST possess the following tickets:
- MR Truck Licence/HR Truck Licence/HC Truck Licence.
- Construction Induction card.
- Traffic Control and Traffic Management Ticket desirable.
Previous experience in operating Skids Steers and Chainsaws and working in the road maintenance or civil construction industry would be advantageous, as would a current First Aid Certification.
