Skillinvest is currently seeking Road Worker's for multiple positions with one of Victoria's leading road maintenance providers. The successful applicants will be responsible for servicing roads throughout regional Victoria.
We are seeking an individual who enjoys physical outdoor work, operating power tools & machinery and is willing to learn.
Opportunities available at the following depots:
- Red Cliffs
- Ouyen
- Swan Hill
- Donald
- Echuca
- Warracknabeal
Duties will include:
- General Labouring
- Compacting, leveling, and spreading of materials to form roads
- Routine Maintenance
- Truck driving
- Removal of obstructions
- Required for overtime and after hours call outs
Essential Skills:
- White Card
- Clean 5-year Driver History Report
- Able to pass Pre-Employment Medical including Drug & Alcohol Screening
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Medium Rigid Truck Licence
- Traffic Management Certificate or willingness to attain
- Plant operator's competency
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Experience in a similar role advantageous
