AddressBossong Engineering Pty Ltd, a market leader known for its adoption of innovative technology is seeking an experienced Programmer/ Operator for our Robotic Welding team. We employ advanced welding techniques like GMAW, GTAW, PTA, and FCAW to cater to clients in mining, oil, and gas sectors. The role is crucial for evaluating incoming work, coordinating welding processes, ensuring client satisfaction, and leading a small team. The Robotic Welding team at Bossong perform a wide variety of work:
- Hardfacing both Overlays and Inlays
- Structural Welding
- Hardbanding.
- TIG Repairs combined with our extensive Machine Shop
Your duties will include
- Assess inbound work for appropriate repair method
- Programming and Operating Fanuc and Motoman Robots
- Monitoring weld productivity and output quality
- Supervising a small team of operators
- Responsible for quality inspections, and managing documentation and records
- Development and compliance of welding procedures to Australian and international standards
This is a permanent position in Welshpool working from Monday to Friday
Essential:
- Experience in Welding or Hardfacing operations
- Right to work in Australia with good communication (written & verbal)
- Able to learn Robotic welding coding / control languages
Desirable:
- Experience in programming Robotic Welding or similar systems
- Good mechanical / welding / engineering aptitude
- Experience in supervising small teams and organising workload
- Forklift / Overhead Crane Operation
