Room Leader And Educators- Join Our Growing Team

The Little Learning Tree is a family owned and operated 66 place long care centre in Lithgow. 

Due to growing numbers we are looking for a Room Leader and Assistant to join the team. 

We are focused on creating a positive, open and honest environment for all our staff and recognise that our staff are one of our key tools in providing quality education to our children. At The Little Learning Tree, we believe the education should be meaningful, providing purposeful learning opportunities that allow children to succeed in everything they do.

We have a strong focus on our relationships with families and the local community. We love to involve the children in lots of regular excursions and events in the local community. We have a well-resourced centre with generous budgets for staff development and events. 

Your Role

• To work in the room to create a positive and stimulating environment to support our children
• Have a genuine interest in promoting children's learning and well-being
• Observe and evaluate children's development
• Communicate positively with children and staff on a daily basis
• To show a great love of children and have a knowledge of developmental areas

You will need:

• A Certificate 3, Diploma in Early Education and Care or ECT Degree (or working towards a qualification)
• Knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
• First Aid & CPR or be willing to obtain
• Working with Children Check
• Great written and verbal communication skills
