AddressElecnor has been contracted to build EnergyConnect, a new 700km transmission line extending from Wagga Wagga NSW to the South Australian border.
This backbone infrastructure will connect customers with more renewable energy enabling a further 4950MW of generation capacity, save NSW customers $180 million a year and create 1,500 new construction jobs in regional NSW.
Construction of EnergyConnect is underway in various locations across the project area.
Who you are:
Elecnor Australia has an exciting opportunity for experienced Rotating Telehandler Driver for our Wagga Wagga substation.
The role will require you to drive a Merlo 7T Rotating Telehandler (Roto 70.28) with with Fork, Boom Lift and Crane attachments.
Work hours are Monday to Friday 6.30am to 5pm, and Saturdays 6.30am to 1pm.
This role is suitable for someone living in the local Wagga Wagga/Riverina area. Unfortunately FIFO applications will not be considered.
What you will bring to the team:
- Current Construction Whitecard - essential
- Applicable Crane License - C2, C6, C1, CO
- Current Australian Drivers License
- 3+ years experience in similar role
- Proof of right to work in Australia
- Undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing
- Physically fit with the ability to do physical labour tasks
- Experience operating Merlo Rotating Telehandlers
