About the Opportunity Join our dynamic team as a Rotational Occupational Therapist Level 1/2, stationed at Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital, dedicated to enhancing the lives of our clients through comprehensive therapy interventions. As a pivotal member of our team, you will rotate through various clinical settings within the hospital, providing assessment, treatment, and intervention services to individuals across the lifespan.

What You'll be DoingProvide a high quality occupational therapy service to clients and their families/carers to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes for the clients of the service. This encompasses ensuring effective and efficient entry, assessment, treatment planning, treatment implementation, evaluation and separation of patients/clients in a multi-disciplinary setting. The Occupational Therapist is also responsible for undertaking designated administrative tasks necessary to support service delivery.
Where You'll Be Working Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital is located in the city of Bankstown and is in one of the most multicultural local government areas (LGA) in Australia. This hospital has tertiary affiliations with three universities and offers a range of roles and experiences to employees.
The hospital receives highly diverse presentations in ED as well as having general medical and surgical services and sub-specialty services across the hospital. .- Recognised Degree in Occupational Therapy or other qualification deemed appropriate by the employer, with registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Evidence of knowledge and commitment to the application of quality improvement and evidence based practice
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy in a range of programs
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional education
- Demonstrated clinical experience in inpatient hospital occupational therapy assessments and interventions
- Must possess a valid Australian Drivers Licence (excluding learner driver's licences). If not already in possession, a NSW Drivers Licence must be obtained within 3 months of appointment.
