As we expand our operations, we seek a highly skilled and experienced Rubber Manufacturing Production Manager to join our dynamic team.

Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Production Manager to oversee our Rubber Manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Rubber Manufacturing, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving process improvements and ensuring product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Oversight: Manage and oversee all aspects of the Rubber Manufacturing process, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of production schedules.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain stringent quality control standards to ensure products meet specifications and industry standards.
  • Process Optimization: Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase product quality using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma techniques.
  • Team Management: Supervise and manage production staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations, while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Equipment and Maintenance: Oversee the operation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, coordinating with maintenance teams for regular upkeep and prompt repairs.
  • Inventory and Supply Chain Management: Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products, coordinating with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and shipment.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a culture of safety within the team.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain detailed records of production metrics, quality control data, and other relevant information, preparing reports for senior management on production performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in Rubber Manufacturing or a related industry, with a proven track record in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of rubber processing techniques, including mixing, extrusion, moulding, and curing.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities, capable of motivating and directing a diverse workforce.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to quickly address and resolve production issues.
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members, other departments, and external stakeholders.
