Your Future Role

Based in Cardup, we are looking for a passionate Rubber-Tyred Gantry Crane Operators (RTG Operator)on a Full time Basis to join our business as it goes through an exciting growth phase. 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently lifting and operating cranes to move materials on construction sites. This position requires a keen attention to safety protocols, a strong understanding and proficiency in operating various types of cranes.

On-site training and RTO accredited tickets will be provided for applicants with considerable prior experience and tickets for other cranes.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake pre-start checks on equipment, and reporting any issues or concerns to the Supervisor, along with completing the relevant paperwork.
• Ensure our products and heavy materials are moved across site safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine maintenance on RTG and Crane equipment.
• Ensure that the RTGs are kept in excellent condition and safely shutdown at the end of shift.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in various weather conditions.
• Identify and report any safety hazards or concerns immediately.
• Follows safe operating procedures and instructions.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adaptable to changing site demands.
• Collaborate with construction crews, supervisors, and other personnel to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Skills & Qualifications

• Rubber-Tyred Gantry Crane ticket (desirable but not essential)
• Familiarity with a variety of crane types
• Australian Drivers License
• White Card
• Open Crane Licence (CO) (desirable)
• Working at Heights Ticket
• Forklift Licence (desirable)
• Ability to undergo pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
