PANNU ROADWAYS PTY LTD is currently seeking 4 reliable experienced Line-haul truck Drivers to join our business at “Gillman” South Australia. In this role, you will be towing Heavy combination, multi -combinations of B-double, B-Triples and Road trains. The work shifts are flexible and run 7 days a week that provides good work and life balance to all our employees. These positions are full-time positions. Selected candidates must have at least 12 months of relevant experience, essential for the efficient transportation of goods throughout South Australia and interstate.
Salary will be between $70,000 to $75,000 plus 11.5% superannuation.
Prospective hires are expected to agree to a two-year contractual commitment, reflecting our commitment to fostering lasting connections with our clientele. Strong communication skills, keen attention to detail, and proficiency in conducting thorough truck inspections are vital for success in this position.
Requirements:
• At least 12 months of truck driving experience.
• Hold BFM certification or be willing to obtain it
• Holding a valid driver's license with a spotless driving history.
• Pass pre-employment heavy vehicle medical check, drug & alcohol test and driving assessment.
• Strong communication abilities and adeptness in customer service.
• Experience handling heavy vehicles and navigating various road conditions.
• Commitment to safety and customer service excellence.
Responsibilities:
• Guarantee punctual and safe transportation of goods to specified locations across South Australia and interstate highways.
• Ensure the integrity of cargo during transit, adhering to load capacity regulations. Scrutinize documentation thoroughly before both deliveries and pickups
• Reviewing loading paperwork, inspecting goods, and obtaining delivery certification
• Conduct regular truck inspections to uphold safety and maintenance criteria.
• Utilizing lifting and tipping mechanisms for vehicle loading and unloading
• Foster positive relationships with customers by maintaining clear communication channels.
• Maintaining all documentation including logbooks, time sheets and safety inspections
