The Dry Dock, a historic pub first established in 1857, has been a long-standing fixture on the Balmain peninsula, an area famed for its pub culture. The venue is undergoing a transformative renovation and is set to re-open with a standout food, beverage, and service offering.

About the role
We are seeking dynamic Runners & floor staff. If you have a passion for service, people and for creating unforgettable experiences, all while having a blast, this is your moment to shine. We are excited to create a team who value creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
Your responsibilities
• Warmly greet each and every guest.
• Provide attentive service while exceeding guest expectations.
• Assist with all floors related duties ensuring overall guest experience is always priority.
• Provide answers to all guest related enquiries and questions with poise and professionalism.
• Deliver food and drink professionally and efficiently..
• Maintain a clean, organised and efficient front of house.
About you
• A good team spirit, a positive can-do attitude, and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Eagerness to develop knowledge in all areas of food and beverage.
• 3 Plates or trayed drinks no problem.
• Excellent spoken communication skills.
• Good time management and ability to prioritise tasks.
• RSA certification is required.

The Dry Dock is conveniently located directly opposite Mort Bay Park and Thames St, Balmain Ferry Wharf - only 11 minutes from Circular Quay.
There is ample ‘all day’ free car parking located in the streets around the venue.
