Role Overview:
As a Forklift Store Person, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our warehouse and distribution processes. You will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move, stack, and retrieve materials. Additionally, you will assist with inventory management, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
- Stack and organize inventory to optimize space utilization.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution setting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
