About the role
The SA Pathology Quality Coordinator, Corporate Service will be operating under general direction and with a level of independence, is accountable to the Laboratory Operations Manager and works closely with management of multiple corporate groups and is responsibility to:
- Ensure compliance with the SA Pathology Quality Management System assisted by the Quality Services team, in accordance with SA Pathology and SA Health Policy and procedures and regulatory and accreditation/certification requirements.
- Facilitate and manage ongoing maintenance of Quality Management within their Corporate Services of SA Pathology.
- Facilitate, guide and lead operational and clinical risk management
- Coordinate, guide and lead the investigation and analysis of patient incidents and consumer feedback including the monitoring of subsequent recommendations
- Provide leadership, coordination and guidance of projects/programs related to safety, Quality and Risk management and support of continual quality improvement initiatives to improve patient safety
- Provides advice with regard to relevant accreditation standards to ensure compliance and continual Quality Improvements.
The Quality Coordinator is focused on the continual improvement of SA Pathology services and its Quality Management System.
