About the role;
The primary purpose of this position is, daily, to ensure procedures within both the safety and Quality systems are kept up to date and in working order. Management rely on the procedures to be accurate and followed, this role is responsible for monitoring this and facilitating the upkeep of all accredited management systems under the supervison of CPT Management. These duties need to be carried out in an effective and efficient manner to ensure their effectiveness.
The position is accountable for all documentation and procedure adherence in relation to the management systems operated at CPT Engineering.
Main Duties (but not limited too);
- Management of the PPIR (Nonconformance) and Report it (Safety & Maintenance) form procedures.
- Generate periodic reports for management and staff communicating OHSE & Quality performance.
- Weekly production meetings attendance to highlight any issues with production management staff.
- Develop job/project specific Quality, Safety, and environmental documentation.
- Implementation of new accreditation initiatives.
- It is a critical role of the Quality & Safety administrator to mentor and support all staff at the site when needed and communicate issues with management.
- Help provide the best environment for the technical employees to do their best work in a safe way while guaranteeing Quality and minimizing our environmental impact.
- Fluent understanding of ERP system in areas of accountability.
- Assist first aid team with management of workplace injuries or accidents.
- Prompt and thorough development of production required documentation, SWG, PPIRs, Report it, Inspections, JSA, Meeting minutes.
- Facilitate and organize related meetings.
- Provide data and reports as scheduled and/or requested.
- Lead OHSE & Quality investigations.
- Maintain an approved organized filing system for all documentation.
- Organise and monitor regular testing, Daily, weekly, monthly, or annually.

Skills and experience
The successful applicant will have good communication skills and willing to work within a team environment and ability to liase professionally with staff, suppliers and customers alike. The position applies the highest level of confidentiality, understanding that confidentiality is imperative for fellow employees and CPT Engineering.
Good understanding of processes, confident and experienced computer skills an essential criterion. Ability to learn new systems and able to take direction and work to QA and Safety systems a requirement.
The successful applicant will be willing to assist other office staff with general office duties if required.
