Your ‘day to day’:
- Drive a safety culture by executing a sustainable framework and governance to support a safe environment for all;
- Plan, implement, oversee and follow-up security & safety programs’ requirements in order to identify and mitigate all identified security and safety risks to people, property and reputation;
- Ensure that all risk mitigation plans, and emergency response procedures are implemented, routinely reviewed and employees are trained to minimise possible business disruption;
- Ensure compliance with relevant local legislation, PMI Principles & Practice, standards, procedures and guidelines;
- Manage Safety, Security and OHS audits as required;
- In conjunction with procurement, manage third party service providers ensuring they consistently meet all PMI requirements and standards;
- Manage the security and safety of our retail and supply chain operations throughout Australia and
New Zealand;
- Manage Injury management including co-ordination and management of incident and injury database and coordinate the RTW process with People & Culture team and Line Managers to support injured workers throughout their recovery;
- Manage fleet services and office facilities services including sublease tenant.
Who we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in a safety management/facilities management role ideally within a global Retail or Corporate industry
- Demonstrated experience and familiarity in the national safety and security arena
- Developed knowledge of safety tools and security systems and experience in working with an international safety and security team
- In-depth knowledge of OHS best practice
- Relevant qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety or equivalent
- Willingness to do whatever is required to ensure our success
- Preferred experience in managing facilities and fleet services
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work on issues where analysis of situations or data requires deep knowledge of organisational objectives
