Good Ole Country Gifts is a Christmas and Teddy Bear shop that specializes in collectable Bears and Christmas décor. It was established in 1999 and is in the busy Port area of Echuca.
About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Casual Sales Assistant to join our team.
As Sales Assistant, you will report to the owner.
- Must have an interest in Collectables, Christmas and Teddy Bears.
- Engage with customers.
- Ensure superlative customer service standards and create a memorable experience through visual merchandising and styling.
- Proactively engage and welcome customers.
- Liase with our many Collectors.
- Assist with stock replenishment and maintain the displays.
- Initially the position requires as a minimum to work every 2nd weekend and every Monday and Friday for a total of 6 days a fortnight. This will increase as the Christmas season approaches.
- Pay is above award rates.
About you
- Experience in retail.
- Ability to sell.
- Previous experience using POS system.
- Experience in Excel, Word and some social media would be advantageous.
- Able to work in a team environment or autonomously.
