We are a group of 3 family run Carpet Court stores located in Dulwich, Mt Barker and Noarlunga. We are a customer focused company with an extensive range of the latest technology in flooring and window furnishes. Our modern showrooms display our latest products and designs with an emphasis on home improvement and interior design. We have a strong administration team to assist you in delivering exceptional customer service to our clients.
Under the Carpet Court brand you will also have access to all the latest training and support to help you further develop your sales strategies, product and interior knowledge. Our small team are here to assist you in achieving your professional goals.
Job tasks and responsibilities
The role is to join the front line team, helping clients choose from a range of flooring & window furnishing products to complete a variety of builder and home owner projects. Other tasks include:
- In-store customer service;
- Assistance with colour selections;
- Off-site measuring, quoting and customer contact;
- Understanding of house & floor plans;
- Window Furnishings;
- Setup showroom displays/campaigns and maintaining clean areas;
- Developing client relationships;
- Assistance with social media content, if this is an area of interest.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role you will have/be:
- Highly organised self starter;
- Able to multitask;
- Out-going / Positive personality;
- Able to deal with conflict;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Passion for colours /or interiors;
- A proven sales/retail background, experience with KPI's advantage;
- Computer skills;
- The ability to follow up quotes and complete sales;
- Consistently follow policies and procedures;
- Target driven, eager, enthusiastic with a great work ethic;
- Be personable and enjoy building client relationships;
- Enjoy and work well as part of a small team;
- Window furnishings basic knowledge would be an advantage;
- Passion/interest or even training in interior design would be an advantage.
Salary will be based upon experience.
Location of role could be our Noarlunga Store or Dulwich applicant dependent.
