An exciting opportunity to join a dynamic publishing company exists for an enthusiastic Sales Consultant. This is a full-time role. No experience in media sales is necessary just a great attitude and work ethic. Extensive training provided. Experience in account management, sales, marketing, service or telemarketing is an advantage.
Active Networks serves Sydney's North Shore and Northern Beaches community publishing 3 monthly community magazines with a total print run of 127,000 copies. We also offer businesses a number of inhouse digital products namely a business directory, a deals site, two Facebook Groups and an E-newsletters. We have a graphic design and print arm to the business enabling us to offer our clients a menu of marketing products. Our team of 11 is based in the modern Lifestyle Working Office building adjacent to Warringah Mall in Brookvale.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Finding new business
- Selling and consulting across our suite of products
- Servicing client accounts
- Up selling our online and print products to existing clients
- Assisting with inhouse marketing activities
Your duties will include:
- Tele - prospect to generate sales appointments
- Achieve new sales campaign monthly budget
- Develop and maintain client relationships
- Focus efforts on providing value add service that meets the customer's needs
- Complete monthly reports as required
- Update and maintain our CRM
- Keep an effective record of contacts and negotiations
Skills and experience
The Successful Candidate will:
- Communicate and sell with integrity
- Build a business case around their recommended advertising / marketing strategy
- Be able to, very quickly, build and maintain a rapport with clients
- Be good on the detail and maintaining client records
- Have a high level of both written & verbal communication skills
- Have an excellent phone manner
- Have excellent time management skills and be able to work autonomously
Qualifications / experience required
- Drivers license & own motor vehicle is essential
- Computer literate in excel, word, online is a must.
