You will be working for Love Blinds and Awnings, which is an industry-leading supplier. Love Blinds and Awnings is a market leader on the Gold Coast and is now expanding to establish a presence in Northern NSW and Brisbane territories and beyond. We are looking for an ambitious and energetic sales consultant to take on the home territory of the Gold Coast.
As a Sales / Design consultant, you will be part of a young dynamic and professional team with plenty of experience. You will have admin support who will book your appointments for you in your calendar. An expert marketing team providing the leads and the latest in software applications and digital marketing.
If we find the right candidate with demonstrated capacity there is potential for this person to be trained into a Sales Manager role in the future.
Our window furnishings range includes blinds, shutters, curtains, awnings and outdoor products.
Experience in the industry, attention to detail and a high degree of passion combined with demonstrated high performing sales history are all highly desired for the role.
What you will do
- Respond to warm leads provided to you by visiting the customer’s home or business to provide a quotation.
- Manage the sale process for a database of potential customers, converting sales from an initial inquiry to a contracted sale
- Receive warm leads from inbound via phone and email.
- Promptly identify the client's needs and requirements, formalise written quotes (using industry-leading software on an ipad), follow up and convert sales.
Experience & skills
- Positive attitude toward & understanding of sales processes & selling
- A high aptitude for technology and software
- Hold a valid Australian driving license
- Previous window furnishing sales experience is a bonus, but not essential
- Ability to smash KPIs and meet sales targets
- Successfully manage a pipeline of warm leads with outbound site visits and calls.
- Competence in using, or a natural aptitude to learn, Google applications, such as calendar and Google Drive.
- Experience in using a CRM system is highly desirable (we use Hubspot).
- Proven success in a fast-paced environment
- Outstanding customer service skills
- A strong drive for personal achievement and success
- An ability to maintain integrity in all dealings with both internal & external parties
- A strong focus on customer satisfaction and problem-solving
- The ability to work without supervision autonomously and in a team environment
- An eye for detail and excellent measuring skills
- A high level of personal presentation

What we provide
- Full time position 36.5 hours a week
- Salary: $50,000 + super + commissions of 5% of retail value on the sales you make each month beyond $100,000 + company vehicle with vehicle expenses covered
- Finish at 3pm on a Friday

- iPad and maintained vehicle to perform the requirements of the position
- 2 weeks training in the Gold Coast area
