Sales Engineer - Hydraulics

Job Description The Company:
With over 400 sales offices in 80+ locations worldwide, my client is at the forefront of the Automation & Controls industry globally. They now seek the assistance of a technical sales professional to join their thriving Sydney sales team.
Position Summary:
The Sales Engineer will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth with existing and new customers in NSW. The primary responsibility of this role is focused on the aftermarket sales of spare parts and service contracts and to develop new business opportunities for the while maintaining and expanding relationships with established accounts. The Sales Engineer will work closely with the larger sales team to ensure 100% customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets.
The Candidate:

• Trade Background or Engineering qualification especially those interested in transitioning to a sales position or aiming to enhance their current sales expertise.
• 3+ years’ experience selling any type of mechanical component such as pneumatics, valves, or any industrial focused products highly regarded.
• The ideal candidate should possess strong relationship-building skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Preferred qualifications include a background in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering, or trade qualifications such as Fitter/Mechanic.
