Sales Estimating Cadet

Build your career producing sales estimates required to support the sales process and sales team. 6-Month fixed term contract

Reporting to the Business Systems Manager, your responsibilities will include: Providing support to the Sales Estimating team to assist them in achieving maximum output, including production of designated Sales Estimating tasks

Accurate production of post contract variation amendments

Produce costs and calculation of quotes

Complete administrative tasks and project work as required

The successful candidate will have: Currently studying or just completed a qualification in Building & Construction is essential, or trade experience is highly desirable An ability to interpret, understand and communicate working drawings together with construction detail drawings

Highly organised – ability to multi-task and deal with a variety of activities

Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills

Working knowledge of construction processes and details

Competent Microsoft Office suite computer skills, particularly ExcelWorking knowledge of an estimating system (eg. BusinessCraft, Timberline, HMS, Databuild and Precision) is an advantage.
