We are an Energy Solution business specialising in providing energy-efficient solutions to our customers. Our products are eligible for state and federal government rebates, making them even more attractive to our customers. With our office based in South Melbourne, we are seeking a Sales Manager to lead our team of 20+ sales contractors who are all work remotely.

As a Sales Manager, your primary responsibility will be to oversee lead management, recruitment and sales training. You will play a crucial role in driving the success of our sales team and ensuring that they have the necessary tools and knowledge to achieve their targets. Your ability to effectively manage leads, nurture customer relationships, and provide comprehensive sales training will be key to your success in this role.

If your already working as a 2IC in the solar, heat pump or energy efficiency sector and are looking step up to management this could be the role for you.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the lead management process, ensuring leads are assigned and tracked effectively
- Look after end to end recruitment process for onboarding new sales agents
- Provide ongoing sales training and coaching to the sales team, focusing on product knowledge, objection handling, and closing techniques
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective lead generation strategies
- Analyze sales data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities

Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the Solar or Energy Efficiency sector 
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of motivating and developing sales teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and stakeholders
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive sales performance and make informed business decisions
- Knowledge of government rebate programs and regulations related to energy-efficient solutions is preferred
- Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a focus on achieving targets and driving revenue growth
