Pacific People Solutions are very pleased to partner with our valued client, Alpha HPA, to source a Sales & Marketing Manager for their Brisbane corporate office. Note, Brisbane is their preferred location, however, should you believe you have exceptional skills & experience for this role, we would welcome your interest.
Alpha HPA is an ASX-listed speciality metals and materials company focussed on commercialising its proprietary licensed solvent extraction (SX) & refining technology to produce High Purity Alumina (HPA) and related products for use in the bourgeoning lithium-ion battery and sapphire glass/LED lighting markets.
This global opportunity will see the successful candidate leading the sales & marketing function for the business. In addition, you will develop marketing opportunities, attend conferences & organise event displays, work with the product development team and perform detailed academic paper research to identify potential markets for the organisation’s productions.
You will also be tasked with negotiating commercial agreements with raw material suppliers as well as working with potential customers to provide technical backup data to support their decision to work with the team at Alpha HPA.
This role will require an articulate relationship builder who is capable of searching and identifying new business opportunities as well as providing monthly sales and marketing updates to the executive team. The Sales & Marketing Manger will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and will work closely with their operations & executive team.

Qualifications in engineering or science with substantial experience in a commercial/marketing/sales role
Experience in understanding technical chemical processing technology
Experience in a commercial environment working with minerals processing and offtakes
High energy, self-motivated with a proactive & resilient attitude
Capable of working independently whilst managing internal & external stakeholders
Exceptional interpersonal skills
This business-critical role will also require significant local & international travel. We are seeking candidates who enjoy interacting face to face with customers and who will embrace a role that requires both technical and commercial capabilities.
