About us

Nongshim is a food and beverage specialized company that has been leading the development of Korean culinary culture since 1965. In 2014, Nongshim established a sales corporate in Sydney, Australia, the largest consumption market in the South Hemisphere and is charming the South with the spicy taste of Korea.

Nongshim Australia is experiencing rapid growth and is looking for a passionate Sales representative to service internal sales team and external stakeholders.

The position is a combination of sales and administrative role, based in our North Ryde office. The ideal candidate will be an energetic and motivated salesperson who likely has 1-2 years of sales experience within the FMCG industry.

About the role

As a part of the national sales team, you will be supporting across both Ethnic and Mainstream FMCG supplier accounts. 

  • Actively engage with existing and new distributors to achieve sales target
  • Monitor market trends, research consumer preferences to assist developing sales strategies
  • Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems
  • Create and process sales orders/invoices and assist the business in maintaining articulate sales records
  • Sales closing management and review & tracking of approved/submitted sales budgets 
  • Advise dealers and distributors on policies and operating procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of business
  • Direct, coordinate and review of sales activities and tracking shipment schedule to facilitate seamless business operations 
  • Learn and Maintain Market and Product knowledge 
  • Attend regional and interstate trips when required
  • Other general sales support duties as required

About you

  • Previous sales experience within FMCG Food industry is preferred
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills to influence and build relationships
  • Driven personality with a passion for sales, customer service and achieving budgets
  • Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself or the team to make improvements or take corrective action
  • Team player with a positive can-do attitude
  • Ability to manage high volumes of work and tight deadlines
  • Willing to assist other team members in need 
  • Fluent verbal and written proficiency in English and Korean Language is highly regarded
