Nongshim Australia is experiencing rapid growth and is looking for a passionate Sales representative to service internal sales team and external stakeholders.
The position is a combination of sales and administrative role, based in our Macquarie Park office which is the new office. The ideal candidate will be an energetic and motivated salesperson who likely has 1-2 years of sales experience within the FMCG industry.
About the role
As a part of the national sales team, you will be supporting across both Ethnic and Mainstream FMCG supplier accounts.
- Actively engage with existing and new distributors to achieve sales target
- Monitor market trends, research consumer preferences to assist developing sales strategies
- Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems
- Create and process sales orders/invoices and assist the business in maintaining articulate sales records
- Sales closing management and review & tracking of approved/submitted sales budgets
- Advise dealers and distributors on policies and operating procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of business
- Direct, coordinate and review of sales activities and tracking shipment schedule to facilitate seamless business operations
- Learn and Maintain Market and Product knowledge
- Attend regional and interstate trips when required
- Other general sales support duties as required
About you
- Previous sales experience within FMCG Food industry is preferred
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills to influence and build relationships
- Driven personality with a passion for sales, customer service and achieving budgets
- Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself or the team to make improvements or take corrective action
- Team player with a positive can-do attitude
- Ability to manage high volumes of work and tight deadlines
- Willing to assist other team members in need
- Fluent verbal and written proficiency in English and Korean Language is highly regarded
