We are looking for a Sales Representative to maintain and build upon our growing list of residential and commercial clients.

The ideal candidate will have experience as an estimator/Sales Representative, has previously been in the construction or supporting trades industry, may have been on the tools and is now looking for a change into a desk job, needs to be computer and technology savvy.
 

You will be responsible for:

  • Proactively identifying and cultivating new business opportunities within the residential and commercial sectors.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with contractors, builders, and homeowners.
  • Conducting on-site assessments to understand customers' needs and recommending suitable solutions.
  • Providing detailed product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients.
  • Collaborating with the installation and service teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Conducting market research to understand customer needs and staying informed about industry trends.
  • Collaborating with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies and tactics.
  • Quoting jobs and tendering
  • Maintaining the Company's CRM
     

To be successful in this position you should have:

  • Proven track record of success in sales.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Familiarity with residential and commercial construction processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of garage door products, materials, and installation processes is a plus.
  • A current driver's license.
  • Self-initiative
  • Excellent presentation
  • An extensive network of contacts in the building industry advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent computer skills
  • A robust sense of humor
  • Pride in your actions
  • Reliable transport
  • White card advantageous
  • CRM & sales systems knowledge 

Payrate will be up for discussion to the right person.
