Durotech Industries have been involved in the manufacture and supply of waterproofing, sealant and silicone products for over 45 years. Due to our recent growth and expansion we are currently seeking a new State manager to join our energetic team. The key area of experitise and experience is for Durotech Sealant and Silicons divison.
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing current client base and further developing existing and new accounts. The territories will focus on nationally.
You will proactively market and sell a range of sealant and silicone products and solutions to existing and new potential clients. The purpose is to maintain current levels of sales and equally important to increase sales to either existing and / or new customers.
You will be given ongoing support and product training. This is an ideal role for a sales person with an ability to pick up technical product. Your role will involve approximately 80% on road and 20% in office. Gaining growth and market share for the right person shouldn't be difficult due to our high quality and diverse product selection.
The ideal applicant will have the following:
- Technical sales experience into distribution and construction industry in the Sealant and silicone industry
- A Sales and technical background in Silicone and sealants.
- A strong work ethic with an energetic and tenacious 'go getter' attitude.
- Account management and business development skills.
- High attention to detail.
- An ability to identify issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
- Must have strong communication skills.
