The Role
We are looking for a retail sales professional to join our dynamic team, full time, in Launceston.
About Us
Begents is an Australian owned and operated Furniture, Bedding & Home Appliances retailer and is a part of over 200 stores nationally which has been supporting the Australian community since 1961.
In joining our team, you will be vital in providing support across a variety of functions within the store, with a focus on customer service, product sales and visual merchandising.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional and consistent customer service, face-to-face, over the phone & via email.
- Engage with customers to provide an outstanding customer experience whilst achieving individual & store profit & sales budgets
- Ensure the Store & merchandise is always presented to a high quality
- Process Web orders, including arranging delivery in an efficient manner
- Assist in effective inventory management - stock levels, labelling, initiate ordering, identify opportunities
- Actively participate with in-store set up of marketing campaigns to maximise sales
- Stay up to date with product, sales, and merchandise training & techniques (both in person & online)
About You
- Retail sales experience preferably in consumer electronics & furniture
- Proven track record of achieving & exceeding sales targets
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Outstanding communication & interpersonal skills
- Competent with computer
- Begents is open 6 days, therefore you will need to be available to fulfil a rotating roster.
