AddressOur Bajool based manufacturing client in Central Queensland is currently seeking permanent Salt Refinery General Hands to join their team. Bajool and Port Alma are about 40km south of Rockhampton and 40km north of Gladstone. All applicants will need their own reliable tranpsort.

The Role
Reporting directly to the Senior Refinery Controller your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Operating equipment to produce bulk and bagged products (bagging, wrapping, warehousing)
- Warehouse duties including operation of the pallet wrapper.
- A current driver's licence and have own transport to get to work as there is no public transport available.
About you
You will bring the following skills, experience, and attributes to the role. If you just graduated school, or are looking for a new career, this job is for you! We don't require any prior Industrial Manufacturing experience and will fully train you on procedures, equipment and systems - including helping you obtain a forklift licence. You will however need to be hard working and have:
- Strong commitment to Safety and Quality standards
- Able to work both autonomously and within a proactive team environment.
- Capacity to undertake physically repetitive and manual handling work.
- Available to work a rotating day/night roster.
- Valid forklift licence is highly regarded.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, & background check, including police check
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia
