Sample Prep Technician

About the company/role:

• Global mining organisation - research facility
• Based in the Northern suburbs
• Casual on-going contract
• Full-time hours, Mon-Fri

Duties:

• Preparation and processing of mineral samples using a range of techniques
• Manual handling
• Following SOPs
• General housekeeping

Skills/experience:

• Previous experience in a Sample Preparation environment, or as an operator in a chemical manufacturing company
• Forklift license is a MUST
• Excellent time management and communication
• Must be comfortable to wear required PPE, i.e. fitted face respirator

Recent chemical engineering graduates wanting an initial step into the industry will also be considered!
