We are seeking an experienced SAP BI Reporting Specialist to join our team in a full-time position based in Welshpool, Western Australia. The primary function of this role is the design, development, implementation, management and support of enterprise BI reporting and extraction. You will be required to gather business requirements for data analysis and reporting using BI and database tools to develop reporting solutions to meet business needs and provide support as required to ensure the availability and performance of enterprise data and BI environments for both external and internal users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide planning and reporting solutions to ensure client's reporting needs are aligned to their business requirements.
- Perform BI analysis by working with businesses to determine, capture, and analyse business processes and information requirements.
- Use BI tools to develop reusable objects (facts, attributes, metrics, filters, hierarchies etc.) for information products including reports, dashboards and scorecards.
- Define the solution architecture, design and configuration/development of extractors, staging objects, cubes and queries.
- Perform BW system configuration and development.
- Conduct performance tuning and provide post-implementation support.
- Perform complex transformations
- Set up planning and reporting in SAC.
- Perform data modelling data modelling, create and troubleshoot Process Chains, and develop Expert Routines.
Essential:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written (dealing with the business stakeholders directly)
- Experience with the following is required: SAP BW, Query Designer & SAC
- Extensive knowledge in Data modelling
- Well versed in ABAP for transformation routines
Desirable:
- Power BI
- Sound knowledge of BW Authorisations
