The SAP Commerce Technical Architectwould be responsible for providing technical oversight and leadership for the technical delivery team on B2C and B2B project(s). This will involve working with client IT personnel around integrations and working with the technical teams on how best to achieve functional requirements using the SAP Commerce platform.
Responsibilities:
- Support a team of experienced architects, technical leads, and solutions consultants in the implementation of a large B2B & B2C program.
- Liaise directly with the client's IT leadership & specialists to support integration designs and refine the Technical Architecture.
- Act as subject matter expert on SAP Commerce for the client and wider Tryzens teams.
- Support the Tryzens and client Project Managers with RAIDD management and project management-related activities.
- Work closely with the implementation teams to ensure adherence to SAP Commerce best practices.
- Implement efficient and effective strategies for meeting the functional requirements.
- Work closely with the project management and technical leadership teams to provide direction and leadership to achieve a successful project outcome.
Experience and knowledge of the SAP CVV2 architecture, and Composable/Spartacus front end including AngularJS, is essential. Working closely with the other members of the technical leadership, you will be expected to be able to step into and understand the code when required and to review the implementation to help improve quality controls.
You will need to have strong client-facing experience and be able to lead the integration discussions with the client, supporting the technical integration lead when working with the client's IT teams. You will also need experience in documenting and agreeing on system interfaces and, while not directly responsible for development, be willing and able to help troubleshoot, at the code level, when integration issues are occurring.
You should have experience with SAP ERP, SAP CRM and SAP SCPI, and experience of integrating these systems with SAP Commerce will be well regarded.
Experience in managing high-performance, high-transaction environments as well as managing scalability and high-volume throughput on platforms is essential.
The role is open for contractors or full time and remuneration is competitive based on experience.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of overall experience with at least 2 years of strong experience in Hybris Commerce Suite.
- At least one implementation experience on SAP Commerce Cloud version 2 (CCV2) (B2B Preferred).
- At least one implementation experience using Composable Commerce (Spartacus).
- Experience working in a high-volume, high-performance environment.
- Deep understanding of SAP Commerce architecture.
- Experience in designing B2B & B2C, end-to-end implementations of eCommerce platforms.
- Clear understanding of SAP Commerce e-commerce modules: cart, personalisation, CMS, SmartEdit, ASM, PCM, price & promotions, checkout, order management, customer service and administration tools.
- Experience in integrating SAP Commerce with backend SAP systems like S4, ECC or CRM.
- Experience integrating SAP Commerce with 3rd party solutions like payment processors, and analytics.
- Experience in architecting large SAP Commerce implementations and mentoring leads.
- Must be able to independently handle overall architectural designs, envision NFR's and implement it.
- Should be able to quickly analyse the fitment of SAP commerce for the business problem, identify gaps and suggest solutions around SAP Commerce with minimum customisation.
