The opportunity


Our People Advisory Services (PAS) team is looking for a SAP Functional Data Consultant – HR and Payroll to support major Government technology transformation projects that drive significant change and efficiency to improve our client’s technology transformation ambitions.

Join our growing HR Transformation team!


Working closely with the PAS and transformation project teams, you will be a specialist in SAP HR and payroll data services providing innovation and insights into the converting of data to the new systems.


Your key responsibilities:


  • Lead and facilitate Data Migration workshops
  • Support and facilitate resources on business reconciliation
  • Prepare data to support the SIT/UAT & Parallel Payruns testing teams
  • Data defect triage to identify root causes related to data
  • Development of data templates and data mapping rules
  • Collaborate and support Client data SME


As you will be working with Federal Government clients, it is essential that you are an Australian Citizen due to security requirements.


Skills and attributes for success


  • Degree/qualifications in Business/Commerce, HR or Information Systems, Organisational Psychology
  • Demonstrated experience working on multiple projects in a similar role
  • Experience working with SAP HR systems
  • Additional experience in one or more of: Finance/Travel & Expenses, HR, or Procurement functional domains. (Well regarded)
  • Demonstrated experience working with and supporting the business in a Data Migration projects
  • Prior experience with requirements gathering and supporting the completion of design documents, creation of and completion of functional documents
  • Solid data migration reconciliation and verification experience
  • Proven ability with complex problem solving and mediating decision making
