Are you a skilled Mechanical Engineer with a passion for precision and a knack for mining operations? We're looking for an exceptional individual to join my client’s team as an SAP Materials Analyst. If you have experience in the mining industry, the ability to interpret drawings, and proficiency in SAP tools, we want to hear from you!
Location: Kwinana: 6-12 Month Contract ( Monday – Friday)
Review and Cataloguing:Scrutinize engineering deliverables, such as multi-disciplinary drawings, OEM, vendor manuals, and datasheets to extract materials data for cataloging in SAP.
Navigate through MSP drawings, even if they're not to a high standard, and identify every single component in the plant.
Spare Parts Identification:Utilize your keen eye to visually inspect materials in the plant, identifying spare parts to ensure optimal inventory management.
Vendor Collaboration:Work closely with vendors to obtain quotes for parts, fostering collaborative relationships.
Submit cataloging requests for Master Data creation in SAP.
BOM Development:Support and contribute to the development of the Bill of Materials (BOM) by preparing accurate materials information.
SAP Maintenance:Regularly review SAP to ensure the accuracy of material and BOM information, maintaining data
What you need to bring:- Mechanical or Electrical Instrumentation Engineering background.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP system.
- Great attention to detail.
