SAP S/4HANA Finance Solutions Architect - Director

Your Opportunity

As a pivotal figure within KPMG's SAP Practice, the SAP Finance Functional Architect - Director will be instrumental in steering the direction and success of the practice by fulfilling the following key responsibilities:

• Serving as the principal architect for Finance Solutions, overseeing the integrity and excellence of the proposed systems.
• Spearheading the functional teams and guiding them through comprehensive end-to-end solution planning and execution.
• Demonstrating a robust ability in stakeholder management, with a proven track record of autonomously leading client engagements.
• Empowering organisations to transition from outdated methods to streamlined and efficient operations, offering tailored guidance for modernisation.
• Effectively communicating the strategic advantages of proposed solutions, grounded in a deep comprehension of holistic back-office processes, and confidently advocating these solutions to clients.
• Crafting detailed solution frameworks in response to customer RFPs and for proposal development, ensuring alignment with client objectives and driving forward the value proposition.

To qualify for this position, we are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications, skills, and experience:

• In-depth understanding of SAP architecture and integration, encompassing both on-premise and cloud-based components, along with a comprehensive grasp of SAP's solution roadmaps.
• Proven track record of aiding clients in crafting their SAP strategies, performing technical evaluations, and leading the analysis of current technology shortcomings.
• Outstanding communication abilities, both written and verbal, with the capability to articulate solutions clearly to IT and business stakeholders. Must be adept at conveying straightforward information effectively to team members and in small group settings.
• Previous experience in industries such as Mining, Power, and Utilities would be advantageous.
• Extensive functional knowledge of SAP, particularly in the areas of Finance and Planning.
• Robust experience with Finance Solutions, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Consolidation, Fixed Assets, and Costing.
• Hands-on experience with S/4HANA.
• A minimum of 10 years' experience in the role of a Finance Architect is required.
• Essential to have participated in a complete lifecycle implementation of SAP S/4HANA.

• Bachelor’s degree or accounting degree 
• Relevant SAP Certifications
