Sashimi Chef

Full time

$70,000 – $85,000 per year + super

Majors bay sushi located in heart of majors bay road in Concord is currently seeking talented and passionate a Full Time Chefs/Cook for the daily operation of our kitchen. (Previous Chef will transfer of duties)

Qualifications & experience

• Proven experience as a Chef or Sous Chef in Japanese cuisine.

• Experience in making Sushi, Sashimi,and Japanese style hot food.

• Attention to detail and a dedication to quality.

• A commitment to maintaining the restaurant's high standards.

• A passion for culinary skill and art 

Tasks & responsibilities

• At least 2-3years Experience in the kitchen as Japanese chef.

• Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to a high standard

• Ensuring that food safety and hygiene standards are met at all times

• Managing inventory and ordering supplies. Stock control and Stock Rotation

• Managing team member of kitchen’s roster 

• Highly organised and proactive

Opening Hours

Mon Wed Thur Fri Sat - 10am to 3pm, 5pm to 10pm (kitchen finishs 9-9:30)

Sun - 10am to 3pm, 5pm 9pm (kitchen finishes 8-8:30)

Break time 3pm to 5pm (lunch provided)
