SCADA Environment Analyst

About the Role:
Our client is seeking a SCADA Environment Analyst to provide advanced level support for critical SCADA software applications and hardware/field devices. The role's unique purpose is to ensure efficient, reliable, and cost-effective water services by monitoring and controlling operational assets
Responsibilities:
Put safety above all else by implementing safety systems and role modeling effective safety behaviors.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with staff to achieve team goals.
Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to support the SCADA environment.
Provide advice on the SCADA environment to assist the business in achieving objectives and solutions.
Function as a project resource and undertake assigned tasks.
Coordinate training programs for SCADA applications used by external contractors and business users.
Maintain documentation for training and processes used by the team and end users.
Provide technical and systems analysis to support the maintenance and enhancement of SCADA environment.
Administer SCADA applications, ensuring high availability, reliability, and security.
Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
Requirements:
Relevant tertiary qualification or industry certification and/or a minimum of 5 years of experience in SCADA application support and/or system integration.
Experience with the use and application of SCADA systems in industrial environments.
Extensive knowledge of SCADA applications, particularly GE iFix and Historian, OSIsoft PI or similar.
Comprehensive understanding of SCADA applications' integration with field devices and telemetry systems.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
