School Crossing Supervisor
Permanent Part-time
Multiple positions available in Sale and Maffra
Band 1D $28.89 per hour plus industry allowance and 10.5% statutory superannuation (if applicable)
We are currently seeking motivated, reliable and community focused individuals who are interested in the permanent part-time position of School Crossing Supervisor.
Our School Crossing Supervisors are held in very high esteem in our communities. In taking on this position, you will become vital to the safety of our children, parents and teachers and will be an important second pair of eyes for local motorists.
We are looking for individuals we can rely on to show up for our communities and be a much-loved familiar face around our school precincts. Your alertness to potential dangers will be exercised daily and you will use your good communication skills to confidently interact with members of the public and young children.
You will be required to supervise school crossings during the morning and afternoon shift Monday - Friday on designated school days which equates to approximately 5.4 hours per week on average.
As you will be working with children on our roads, willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check and a Health Assessment is required. All other training and equipment will be provided to enable you to work independently.
